How to use it?

1. This is a java jar file, therefore you need a java runtime (version 7) to start the program.

2. To start it: java -jar cob2html.jar

3. After start you have to select a COBOL source file as input. This will be converted in 4 HTML files. These HTML files will be created in the same directory.

4. Click on the *_index.html file, then you can see the other 3 files in frames in your browser.

5. You can navigate with clicks on COBOL PERFORMS and other links.

 

TODO:

- Fixed COBOL format, comments in col 7. (The program can process only free format, cmments in col 1.)

- Inline comments.

- Embedded SQL processing.

- Recursive PERFORM calling tree.
